One of the things I’m so glad I’ve gotten to do since founding Compass Coordinators is speak in front of groups! realize that public speaking is a lot of people’s nightmare, but I absolutely love it.
I’ve done informational webinars, both my own and attending as a guest speaker, like this one on the “Top 5 Biggest Headaches for Widows & Widowers.”
I’ve also recently had the opportunity to speak in person at a Rotary Club meeting, with a talk that was more focused on my personal story and all the things I thought I knew before my husband passed away in 2015. I most certainly have learned a lot since then! It was a pleasure to share with that group.
And most recently, I’ve been chosen as one of the speakers at Success in the Queen City / NAWBO Talks! It’s October 26 from 6-9pm at Whitehead Manor in Charlotte, NC and there are opportunities to attend in-person or virtually.
Each speaker has 6-8 minutes for a “TED Talk” style speech (no slides!) on Resilience in the Face of Change—definitely a topic I know something about!
If you’re interested in having me speak at an event, please send an email to jasmine@compasscoordinators.com or call 980-263-9109.
